DON’T LET THE BATH GET TOO hot—it should be comfortable to step into. “Hot water removes the oils from your skin,” says Jerome d. Fallon, M.D., instructor of dermatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

“Add a few drops of an oil-based bath product—such as a bath oil or a soak—that is formulated to penetrate skin under water. Avoid detergent-filled bubble baths and powders, which can dry out your skin,” says Helga Hefner, a trainer in skin and body care at “Aveda. Limit soaking time to 15 to 20 minutes. (Try: Aveeno Bath Treatment, Erbe Chamomile Bath Foam, Aveda soothing Aqua Therapy).

DANDRUFF COUBLE CHECK Flake-fighting shampoos don’t have to be harsh on hair. In fact, researchers at Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati found that anti-dandruff products with pyrithione zinc actually conditioned strands and stopped itchy scalp. Get the ingredient in Denorex of Head & shoulder.

SPA SAFETY Whirlpool baths can be a hotbed for the bacteria that cause the disease known as hot tub lung. The Archives of Internal Medicine reports that the number of cases is rising, even as specialists say it likely remains under diagnosed. If you’re frequent soaker, know the symptoms—persistent cough, shortness of breath, fever—and consider turning off the jets in public spas just to be safe (Bubbles can help bacteria get into the air, where it’s easier for you to inhale them.)

BROW WOW If you use one eyebrow pencil, you might want to start using three, says Randi Mavestrand, a makeup artist in Los Angeles. Short, light strokes of black, dark brown and gray give dimension, which is essential to creating a natural look. Towheads and strawberry blonds, however, should skip the black and stick to lighter browns and grays.

Good morning friends. Some women do have very short and thin eyelashes. And they want to look that thicker. So there is this fake eyelashes (false eyelashes). Have you ever tried to wear fake eye lashes? I tried ones and at first it’s difficult but when you have a constant practice you will find it easy to wear.

Many women do like to wear false eyelashes. I believe they are the best alternative to a fuller lashes. Some usually use full band lashes whenever they have occasion to attend. It’s the easiest to apply.

But for personal use, individual lashes are others preference, because they are the most natural-looking and are like hair extensions. You can use black or brown, but mixing the two colors is ideal. You have to trim before you use them. Or you can trim them yourself using eyebrow scissors. Use your own lashes as your guide. False eyelashes should be the same length as your natural lashes. [1] Before attaching the fake eyelashes, curl your lashes first and line your eyes with a dark brown or black pencil. This will help conceal the lash roots. [2] Equip yourself with your supplies: eyebrow scissors to trim, tweezers to apply, the lashes and the glue. [3] Put a drop of lash glue on a hard surface (the outside of the case holding the lashes is perfect) and let it dry for a minute. [4] Hold the lash tip with tweezers and dip the root in the glue. Give it a few seconds to dry a little. [5] Starting at the outer corner, wedge the glued lashes between your natural lashes and hold it in place for a few seconds. A couple of clusters at the outer corners of the upper lashes are usually enough, but you can also use them to fill in any sparse areas.

OK, enough bad news! There is a solution: Just like Mom told you, try to eat regular, balanced meals—it’s the single best thing you can do for your looks. At every meal, down foods that pack in a wide variety of nutrients, plus about four ounces of protein. “A lot of women don’t eat breakfast, rush through lunch and then have a wonderful dinner.” But since energy to make hair-follicle cells is lowest in the morning, the two most important meals for hair are breakfast and lunch.

This all makes sense, you may be saying to yourself, but isn’t thin in? well, it’s nowhere near as in as looking and feeling good, and that’[s the big beauty pay-off of maintaining a healthy weight. The truth is, if you’re a chronic dieter, your skin is never going to look as vibrant as that of someone who always ate well. Youth can camouflage poor eating habits for a while, but once you hit your thirties, you’ll age more quickly. - Louise Jarvis

Good morning to everybody. It is always said that the hair crowns the beauty. I believe in that. Our is the one seen first by many. Our hair gives us confidence if it is very healthy and stress free.

It was then believed that in order to get healthy, shiny hair it must be brushed a hundred times every night before going to bed. Hair experts said that too much brushing and combing can actually be rough on hair.

Hair may seem resistant to all the brushing, heat styling and coloring, but every strand is fragile. The cuticle, its outer layer, is made of scales that overlap each other. Once the scales are disturbed, hair damage starts. And over time it will continue to chip and fray until the surface becomes rough, dry and dull. There are warning signs of hair damage which you will notice and it includes lack of elasticity, lighter-colored ends, split-ends and hair breakage.

You can give a style on your hair anytime you want. Keeping your hair healthy doesn’t mean you completely stop styling it. You can take some measures to save it from further damage and give it some much-needed TLC.

It is important that you use a wide-tooth comb. Our hair is weak when it’s wet, so combing our hair with a brush must not be done. You may try to use a plastic or rubber wide-tooth comb, as this is least likely to catch and break wet hair. When hair is almost dry, a natural or nylon bristled brush will style hair with minimal damage.

After shampooing you hair, don’t forget to use the conditioner. Regular use of a moisturizing conditioner will keep your hair from drying out and make detangling a breeze. Some hair stylish recommend the use of conditioner every day and shampoo only every other day to give hair a smooth coat.” – Kelly Misa

Amazingly, a flaky face or wrinkles aren’t what set off an alarm for most women. Dieters often rush to doctor’s office because their hair is thinning or falling out. They get used to how their skin looks, so it takes longer for them to realize there’s damage.

Poor diet accounts for the hair problems that Philip Kingsley, a London- and New York-based trichologist (hair scientist), sees in 60 percent of the female patients. Within three months of kicking off a nutrient-poor diet, women will start to see a loss of body and bounce. Hair follicles are nonessential tissue, so a lack of nutrition starves them, gradually making each strand look thinner. The culprit is often a deficiency of protein, the stuff hair is made of. Even after you start eating properly, it can take two to three years to regain lost volume. And your hair may never again have optimum thickness. – Louise Jarvis

Hair conditioner

MIX 3 tbsp of honey with 1/3 cup olive oil. Heat in microwave, then work in and leave on hair for 30 minutes in a shower cap. Shampoo and rinse afterwards. Squeeze juice from half a lemon and mix with a mug of hot water as a final rinse for hair. This clears up buildup and residue on scalp and hair and controls grease.

Aloe vera is an ingredient of many conditioners for a reason—it’s been proven to soften hair. Break a branch from the garden and squeeze sap onto your locks. Use like you would a conditioner.

Face

Moisturize your face naturally with mashed avocado. Leave on for 15 minutes, then rinse. Don’t forget your neck! Smoothen your skin once a week with a mix of oatmeal, ¼ cup honey, and half a cup of water. Microwave oats and water, cool for five minutes then mix in honey. Leave on mask for 15 minutes before rinsing. Or, cool down with a facemask made of 1 tbsp honey, 1 egg yolk, and 1 tsp yogurt, straight from the fridge. Yogurt tightens the pores while the honey and egg yolk moisturize.

Feet

Make a relaxing foot soak of four tea bags, 1/8 cup dried parsley, and four drops of your choice of essential oil. Mix with hot water 10 minutes before soaking your feet and say, “ahhhh…” An easy and quick do-it-yourself scrub is 1 cup brown sugar with 2 tbsp of lotion. Scrub well areas that often rub against shoes like heels, balls of feet and toes. Two cups of milk with a cup of honey make for the ultimate moisturizing foot soak. Pour in hot water and dip feet in for 10 minutes before rinsing and drying.

Throw in some rose petals for an instant spa at home!

Nails

Scrub your nails with baking soda or whitening toothpaste. Soften cuticles by massaging a teaspoon of olive oil with a teaspoon of vitamin E oil.

Good morning everybody. This is a good tips to quickly fix your beauty solutions. Many women were busy and always rushing. Sometimes they can’t fix themselves. But worry-free now, here’s a quick-fix beauty solutions which provide us by Linda Moran Evans, beauty/fashion Director.

If you problem is a sallow skin, here’s the easy-do remedy for that. Match foundation to complexion, making sure to choose one with yellow undertones. Then rub on a pink, rosy blush to achieve a pretty, healthy glow. To try: Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in Warm Ivory; Cover Girl Cheekers in Plumberry Glow.

If your problem is the dark circle, then you don’t have to be troubled, here’s the easy-do remedy for that. Mix a little bit each of your regulary foundation and concealer in palm. Dot underneath eye with fingertip, then blend with slightly dampened makeup sponge. To try; Bobbi Brown sponge; Maybelline Non Stop All Day Wear Makeup in Ivory; L’Oreal Feel Naturale Concealer in Light.

If you have a problem of puffy eyes, stop agonizing, here’s the easy-do remedy for that. Soak cotton balls in a 50/50 blend of ice-cold water and whole milk. Lie down with one over each closed eye for 15 minutes. The Chill combined with the milk fat brings swelling down nicely
